Virginia I. (Kelly) Reyes

Virginia I. (Kelly) Reyes, 102, of North Versailles, formerly from Leetsdale and McKeesport, PA passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born September 11, 1913 to the late David F. and Margaret (Wirbick) Kelly. She was the wife of the late Peter Reyes whom she was married to for 58 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her children Fred C. Reyes, Eleanor L. Denne, Lois J. Nanney, Virginia A. Ivan; sisters Cecilia Yniguez, Margaret Garza, Evelyn Cottone, Ruth Cindric and Emma; brothers Nicholas Kelley and David Kelly and Grandson Fred J. Reyes. She is survived by daughters Judy E. Reyes of North Versailles and Sallie M. Waynar of Avonmore, and son James P. (Donna) Reyes of North Huntingdon and daughter-in-law Donna J. Reyes of North Versailles, 22 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and special friends Leilani and Valeriana Rose Mallare. She was a retired Avon lady of 45 years and a former Treasurer of the Old Timers bowling league. She was a faithful member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. She loved her bingo, bowling and bagels and eating out, especially at Red Lobster. We will miss her making enchiladas for special holidays. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her very much and cherish the wonderful years together as a family. Our loss is great and our hearts are heavy. She was the best mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and aunt to her family. Our lives have changed forever but she will live forever in our hearts. We were truly blessed by her presence. A special thank you to her caregivers Cindy, Sallie, Joanne, Kristine, Mary Beth and Dan. Love you guys so much. Friends and family will be received from 6 PM to 9 PM Tuesday and 4 PM to 8 PM Wednesday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Thursday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Monroeville.
