Edward C. "Ed" Hustwit

Edward C. “Ed” Hustwit, 57, of Claridge, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a life of cherished memories, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most. Ed is survived by his beloved wife Victoria (Pagliarulo) Hustwit who was his partner, best friend, and the love of his life. Together they built a life filled with happiness, adventure, and countless memories. He is also survived by his father Edward T. Hustwit; mother-in-law Angela Pagliarulo; sister Christine (Ron) Chamberlain; nieces and nephews including beloved nephew Joey Jefferson; children Timothy (Melissa) Wilson and Bethany (Aaron) Morrison; the light of his life, his grandchildren, Mila and Laena Wilson and Shay and Greyson Morrison; also an aunt, an uncle, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Anne Hustwit, his father-in-law Frank Pagliarulo, and his son Matthew Wilson. Ed was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and an employee of Clayton Kendall, Monroeville. Ed's greatest joy in life was his family, especially his nephew, and his grandchildren. There was nothing that brought him more happiness than spending time with them, making them laugh, sharing stories, and creating memories they will carry with them forever. His love for them was unconditional, and his pride in each of them was evident to everyone who knew him. An outdoorsman at heart, Ed found peace in hunting, fishing, and camping. Whether he was sitting quietly in the woods, casting a line into the water, or relaxing around a campfire with family and friends, he appreciated the simple moments that life had to offer. As a proud Pitt Alumni, he had a passion for Pittsburgh sports and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Ed will also be remembered for his quick wit and endless supply of wonderfully bad jokes. He had a unique ability to make people smile, often with a corny punchline that was met with equal parts of laughter and eye rolls. His sense of humor, kind heart, and easygoing nature made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 17 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
