Sandra B. Kresovich, Sandy, went home to Our Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020. Born in Fredricktown, PA on February 21, 1943, Sandy was the daughter of Daniel and Ann Ruth Battaglini and the devoted wife of the late John C. Kresovich. Sandy attended California University of Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Her career began as a third-grade teacher at Gotwall Elementary School in Wilmerding. Upon her retirement in 1999, Sandy enjoyed traveling. She visited many countries in Europe, always returning to her favorite, Italy. At home, Sandy was a devoted member of Miller United Methodist Church and served on many committees. She also volunteered weekly at the East Allegheny Meals on Wheels. Sandy will forever be remembered as a kind, caring and loving person who valued her family and her friendships. Sandy’s wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile will provide many cherished memories for those who loved her.
