Regis J. "Jim" Cibak

Regis J. “Jim” Cibak, age 69, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was born April, 29, 1947 in Braddock, a son of late John and Mary (Kmetz) Cibak. He was a Navy veteran that served during the conflict in Vietnam was a retired employee of the Union Railroad. He was a member of the New Stanton Assembly of God church in New Stanton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his bothers Robert and Russell Cibak. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Carol J. (Allen) Cibak; his five children that God honored him to have and raise James (Michelle) Cibak of North Huntingdon, Becky (Terry) Chopp of West Newton, Jenny (Bill) Radford of Ruffsdale, Angel Stokes (Eric Davis) of Adamsburg and Ashley (Richard) Priestley of Greensburg; fifteen grandchildren; brothers Ronald, Richard and Randy Cibak; sisters Roberta Stokes and Becky Cibak; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where everyone will gather for a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Mike Hampton officiating.
