Norman G. Frye Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Norman G. Frye, 77, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was born June 23, 1945 in Greensburg, a son of the late Earl and Margaret Jane (Dudley) Frye and was also preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth, Robert, and Welty Frye. Norm was a Navy veteran and a retired custodian for Norwin School District. Along with his family he operated Earl’s Dairy Whip, North Huntingdon. He loved old cars, old movies, and the television show Dukes of Hazzard. He is survived by his brother Wilbur Frye and his wife Betsy of North Huntingdon, his sister-in-law Margaret Frye of Penn Township, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, with Dr. Douglas Rehberg, officiating. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.
