JoAnn (Bjornberg) Wardezak, 58, of Irwin, died Friday April 2, 2021, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born December 15, 1962, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Hilty) Bjornberg. JoAnn earned an associate’s degree from Westmoreland County Community College and was a Senior Conference Planner for Federated Hermes. She loved spending time with her family. They all enjoyed vacationing and fishing at Deep Creek Lake, MD. She loved her horses, Dixie, Savannah, Izzy, and Jaxson, her dogs Jasper and Gigi, and her cats and chickens. She is survived by her loving husband James C. Wardezak; her beloved sons Christian Wardezak and Jake Wardezak; her cherished siblings Ruth (William) Sloan and John (Sharon) Bjornberg; also nieces Becky (Kevin) Helmer and Betsy Oyatsi and her great niece Adara Oyatsi; as well as many cousins, other family members, and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. Funeral services will be private.
