George E. Hayden Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

George E. Hayden, 69, of Penn, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was born June 12, 1953 in Greensburg, a son of the late George E. III and Mary (Wesling) Hayden. George was well known and loved as a customer service representative for Bob’s BP (formerly Ray’s Jacktown Service) of North Huntingdon. He also formerly worked at Bartlett Tree Service, Children’s Palace, and National Aluminum. George was a model train collector and also collected vinyl records. He adored his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Valerie Millslagle and Steve Hayden and his cousin and best friend Teddy Richardson. He is survived by his wife Karen (Gilbert) Hayden; his children Katie H. (Chris) Redmond, Christopher G. (Christy) Hayden, and Andrew M. (Andrea) Hayden; his grandchildren T. J., Alex, Dylan, Emily, Mikeal, and Ashlyn; his brother James (Sandy) Hayden; also brothers and sister in law; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, where a funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Douglas Rehberg, officiating.
