Dorothy R. (Churchfield) Pavlik, age 92 of Plum, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She was born June 11, 1928 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Homer and Anna Catherine Churchfield. She was a founding member of the Holiday Park United Methodist Church in Plum and was a long-time Sunday School teacher. She worked for many years as a receptionist at Dr. Grande’s Eye Clinic in Plum before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother George ”Sonny” Churchfield; and her sister Sarah Ernestine McIntosh. She is survived by her daughters Rebecca (Robert) Calderwood of Holidaysburg and Melissa (Daniel) Wolfslayer of Wexford; Grandchildren Bret (Kimberly) Calderwood, Ryan Wolfslayer and Jordan Wolfslayer; great grandchildren Abigail, Noah and Madilyn Calderwood; sister Hazel (Lisle) Kunkle of Indiana; and brother Donald Churchfield of Pittsburgh. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Holiday Park United Methodist Church in Plum, 81 Sandune Drive. Everyone will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holiday Park United Methodist Church in Plum for a funeral service. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in North Versailles.
