Barbara Ann Lunn, 78, of Ardara, died September 30, 2015. She was born November 15, 1936 in Trafford, a daughter of the late John and Betty (Dudley) Marshalek. She was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a lifelong member of Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, elder, and choir member. She enjoyed getting together with the card club girls, and loved to travel. Her family will always remember her for wanting them to “do the right thing”. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Lunn and a brother Barry Marshalek. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Debbie) Lunn of Trezevant, TN, and Kerry (Ron) Ickes of Biddle; grandchildren Shelby Brugnoli (Chris) Webb, Nicole Brugnoli (Josh) Whipkey, Dennis Brugnoli (Ashley Payne), and Joshua and Meagan Lunn; great grandchildren, N’Tayia, Maurya, Finnegan, and Rylyn; a sister, Sherry Marshalek McCune; also many loved nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday October 16, 2015, in Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3380 Nehrig Hill Rd., Ardara, PA 15645. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church. William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Irwin, is in charge of arrangements.
