Molly Elizabeth Moss

With both heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Molly Elizabeth Moss on August 26th, 2026. Molly was a magical little girl whose personality filled an entire room. Her eye contact was deep and perceptive and people were drawn to her. She was an observer, ever curious, who paid attention to all that was going on around her, planning her chance to explore and try it herself. Because she was so loved in her parents’ reassuring warmth, she was learning to come and go while she discovered herself. She mastered new things every day in her big world. As young as she was, she had a great sense of humor. She followed along and knew when something was funny, like missed aim during a game of boop on the nose. Her smile and her laughter were contagious and she had an appetite, for life and for food, that was extraordinary. She loved animals and especially loved laying on her cat, Archer. She loved playing with her toys, and when they were her toys, she protected them fiercely. When music came on, Molly grooved. She danced and shrugged her shoulders before she could even walk. Molly loved her big sister Lucy with twinkles and rainbows in her heart. Molly followed her wherever she went, tugging on the back of Lucy’s shirt, trying out what big sis was doing both to be like big sister and see if she could do it too. Such a little sister! She looked up to Lucy every day in every way. But Molly was on her own path, a courageous adventurer, she knew what she wanted and nothing would get in her way. We didn’t get to know all of the amazing things Molly would become, but while she was here, Molly brought joy, love, and laughter into our lives and her spirit and memory will live on in all of us. She was a bright, luminous star and we are lucky to love her. Molly reminds us to widen our eyes, arms, and hearts, and embrace the big world. Molly, you will be loved for the rest of our days. Molly is survived by her loving parents, Erin and Travis Moss; her sister, Lucy Moss; her grandparents, Jeannie Gsell, Norma and Paul McGowan Sr., and Mark and Janet Moss; and her aunts, Dani and Sydney Moss; her uncles, Paul McGowan Jr., Shawn Mannas, and Mike McLaughlin, and her cousins Nolan and Devon Mannas. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin, PA, 15642. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at noon. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Verona, Pa. and a luncheon gathering will follow. Erin and Travis are so grateful for the abundance of love that has been extended by their friends and family.
