Michael Anthony LeDonne

Michael Anthony LeDonne, 57, of Irwin, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and closest friends. He was born on January 17, 1967 in Pittsburgh, a son of Anthony and Tina (Balestra) LeDonne. In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Jeanne M. (Calhoun) LeDonne; brother and sister Robert J. (Lisa) LeDonne of Irwin, and Elisa (Phil) Cupelli of Irwin; brothers and sisters-in-law John C. (Linda) Calhoun of Valencia, Margaret A. Tarquino of Irwin, and Edwin P. (John) Calhoun of Myrtle Beach; nieces and nephews Michaela (Dalton), Anthony (Emily), Evelina, Rocco, Jason, Justin (Nikki), Jimmy (Tiffanee), Lauren (Jesse), Brady, Valerie, Kate, Austin, Luca, Lily, Jude, and Celia; aunts, uncles, and many cousins; also Dan and Patty Meshanko who were with us every step of the way over the last 5 years. He was preceded in death by a brother in-law Jim Tarquino. Mike started his life battling childhood leukemia at the age of 5. Despite facing health challenges, Mike never wanted that to be the theme or memory of his life. He lived a vibrant life filled with laughter and joy. Mike was known for his sense of humor, his laugh, his love for parties, his funky dance moves and his passion for bringing people together. He attended Regent Square School, St. Anselm School in Swissvale, and Pittsburgh Central Catholic before graduating from Duquesne University in 1989. Mike began his career at the age of 9 as a newspaper delivery boy and later worked at Foodland all throughout high school and college. He dedicated 34 years to AT&T as a Process Improvement Manager, where he also spent countless hours volunteering his time and energy helping people in need. Everywhere he worked he forged lifelong friendships. While working at AT&T Mike met the love of his life, and future wife Jeanne, in 1995. They got married in 1997. Mike and Jeanne are proud fur parents to Luigi Anthony and the late Buddy Anthony. Mike worshipped at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, golfing, watching sports, and planning parties with family and friends. He was the best husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, Godfather, and friend who will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.
