Loretta M. (White) Jacobs

Loretta M. (White) Jacobs, 89, of Export, died Thursday November 2, 2023 at home. She was born January 30, 1934 in Center Township, a daughter of the late Ernest David and Sarah Katherine (Pierce) White. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Paul C. Jacobs and siblings Elaine Montgomery, Richard “Dick” White and Violet Shaffer. She was a member of Monroeville Assembly of God Church. After her husband passed she obtained her certified ministerial credential with the Assembly of God Church. She was a member and leader of the Silverliners, and had served as the sectional representative for the Assembly of God District Women’s Ministry. She also served as chaplain for the Arc Manor Personal Care Home, Delmont. She is survived by her daughters Beverly A. (Carl) Srock of Houtzdale, Rebecca J. “Becky” (Rev. Joseph) Hollen of Fallentimber, Barbara R. Jacobs of Export, and Paula S. (Michael) Mounts of Greensburg; her grandchildren Stephanie (Michael) Halpin, Rev. Jonathan Srock, Danielle Srock, Pamela Ripple, Nathan (Catherine) Hollen, Andrew (Rachel) Hollen, Mikayla (Ezekiel) Katonka, Kristen Mounts, Faith Mounts, Paige Mounts, and Abigail Mounts; her great grandchildren Malachi, Akira, Madeline, Amelia, Josiah, Benjamin, Avery, Tucker, and Mackenzie; siblings Roberta Adams, Ronald (Irene) White, and Linda Anderson all of Indiana; also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday November 6 and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday November 7 at the Monroeville Assembly of God Church, 4561 Old William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146. A funeral service will be held there at 1 p.m. Tuesday with her son-in-law Rev. Joseph Hollen and grandson Rev. Jonathan Srock, officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Viaquest Hospice for all the kind and compassionate care.
