Dolores Edna (Woomer) Lunn

Dolores Edna (Woomer) Lunn, 90, of Adamsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home in Adamsburg. Dolores was born March 5, 1935, in Greensburg PA, daughter of the late Richard and Edna (Rickard) Woomer. She was one of eleven born to the couple! From an early age, Dolores was a wonderful singer that developed into a soaring soprano, a skill which she used for many years as a member of the Brush Creek United Church of Christ choir (where she was often tabbed as a soloist) as well as special services and events elsewhere. She was a diligent homemaker, cook, and hostess and loved to entertain friends and family at her home. Many yarns were spun while playing cards and games. Along with her husband she was an avid collector of antiques. She met Frank Boocks "Man" Lunn while the two of them worked together at the "R Place" curbside diner in Adamsburg. She was a curbside waitress with several of her sisters, and he worked as the "soda jerk" making the milkshakes in the back. The two were wed on November 2, 1956, in Manor, and were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 2006, with many friends and family in attendance. They spent many of their final years together at their second home in Albion PA, next to many of her siblings. Her family was her whole heart and she and Frank raised five children at the family home in Adamsburg, full of joy, laughter, and love. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Dolores is survived by three of her children, Michele Momper (David) of Irwin, Melissa Felbaum (Jonathan) of Jeannette, and Martin Lunn (Caitlyn) of Harrison City; daughter-in-law Sharon Lunn; grandchildren Alia Frates (Mike), Jeremiah Momper (Di), Joel Momper (Erica), Joshua Momper (Lauren), Jonathan Momper (Maddie), Cameron Felbaum, Corey Zorzi (Julie), and Mandy Blystone; great-grandchildren Alyssa Frates (Hunter), James Blystone, Alexander Frates (Beverly), Abbegaile Blystone, Eden Frates, Colette Momper, Jonah Momper, Ryan Momper, Sondre Momper, Addy Momper, John Momper, Adam Momper, and Julien Momper; great-great-grandchildren Rosalie and Theo Johnson; siblings Idella "Faye" Woomer, Linda Krolczyk, Cleveland Woomer (Kathy), Richard Woomer, Harry Woomer, Cynthia Carr (Dennis), and Jacqueline DeLong (Jim). Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Frank; sons Mitch and Michael; sisters and spouses Joyce McCann (Charles "Chick"), Roxie "Carole" Loughner (James "Buck"), Phyllis "Gail" Hursh (Howard "Moe"); brother-in-law Stephen "Sonny" Krolczyk and sister-in-law Gerry Schewen. Dolores will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great friend to many.
