Mildred A. "Millie" (Lehosky) Fulmer

Mildred A. “Millie” (Lehosky) Fulmer, 95, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was born March 14, 1927 in Westmoreland City, the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Martincheck) Lehosky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Harry E. Fulmer who passed away in 1978, her brother Andrew J. Lehosky and sister Marie E. Long, and her second husband Donald E. Buncie Sr. who passed away in 2009. Millie was a graduate of Norwin High School class of 1945, she worked at Westinghouse Electric, East Pittsburgh, she was an office administrator for Westmoreland County Community College, and retired from the Pennsylvania State Education Association, New Stanton in 1993. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, where she was in the ladies group Peace Circle, she was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Jeannette, and the Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sheridan Terrace. Millie was also a member of Degree of Honor Protective Association, National Slovak Society, and United Lutheran Society. She was a member of the Hermine Senior Center where she volunteered her time teaching seniors a line dancing technique using a chair in place. The members greatly enjoyed her teaching and looked forward to it weekly. In her younger years she enjoyed roller skating and later dancing to big band music, she loved line dancing, taking Tai-Chi lessons, her card club, gardening and sharing perennial plants with many friends and family, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Becky Jo (John) Kemerer, of Westmoreland City, and Gary L. (Sharon) Fulmer of Greensburg; grandchildren Steven (Dana) Kemerer, Jonathan Kemerer, Rachel Fulmer (William Stewart), and Craig Kerfonta; great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Logan, Austin, Tala, and Alec; nieces Nancy Hildenbrand, Judy Mayers, Robin Celusniak, and Laurie Kukurin, sister in-law Joyce Lehosky, and many great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Main St., Irwin, PA 15642.
