I was thoroughly impressed with the William Snyder Funeral Home. Dave took wonderful care of us and did an exceptional job with my mother’s viewing and cremation. He was so patient and gracious with us during the planning as my husband and I never had to plan a viewing before. The facility is very spacious, clean, tons of parking, and close to the Turnpike for family coming in from out of town. Dave helped us get though every step and made us feel so at ease. He made my mom look so natural and peaceful which was exactly how we wanted. This funeral home will be our number one choice for any future loved ones because we know they will be in the best of hands. Thank you, Dave, for everything!

I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Dave for how he treated me and my family when my husband passed away. Such a burden was lifted when we were in his hands. He was so kind and thoughtful and made sure all of our wishes were granted. He even made suggestions for things we had not thought of. He thought of everything. My grandparents and my husband's parents were taken care of by Forgie. Even though we live an hour away, my beloved husband was an East McKeesport kid, and there would be no one but Forgie to care for him. Thank you, Dave. Mary Ann Perkosky and family

If I could, I would give the William Snyder Funeral Home 10 Stars! They are extremely well staffed, open to client wishes, and absolutely stellar at conducting business during a very difficult time. They run the process from start to finish and seamlessly flow with client needs and operational changes. In a very difficult time for me and my family, they were outstanding. We have used Snyder's before and knew they would ne the only ones to handle my Husband's arrangements. I selected cremation because I would travel to Galveston, TX for an Oceanside distribution of his remains. Dave was extremely sympathetic and considerate, he even obtained a US Flag for my husband because he was a veteran. Outstanding provider, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Dave was such a huge help in helping us through this horrible ordeal of my mother-in- laws passing. He was such a saint and a God send. He truly was looking out for what we wanted and not what he could charge us. When my time comes, I'm telling everyone I want Dave to take care of me. The place Is pretty, and they work with you and your insurance companies and they dont try to pressure you into spending additional money beyond what was needed. I will never be able to thank Dave Mahlstedt enough he took such wonderful care of my mother like she was his family. Dave also got me through one of the most heartbreaking days of my life. The entire staff make you feel like family thank you.

Everything was even more incredible than we ever could have expected! Dave Mahlstedt was so amazing with everything and went so far above and beyond to ensure my father was taken care of and honored with all the military honors he deserved. There isn’t enough thanks my family and I can express to the everyone involved. "Everything went so smoothly - starting with arranging everything for mom in FL and getting her to PA. Due to the time constraints, mom's sister and sister-in-law went to pick her gown. Neither David or Bill were phased by all the different family members making various decisions. They were wonderful."
